Arrival Point: John Cabot either ended up in Cape Breton Island or Laborador, but its not for sure because none of it was recorded very well. He found New found land today still known as Newfoundland located in Canada. His crew caught huge numbers of Cod by dipping baskets into the water.
Explorers Contribution John Cabot's obvious contribution was finding Newfoundland and exploring the coastline of Canada. Cabot was the second European to find North america (only after Christopher Colombius). His voyage claimed territory in North America under the flag of a European country, and gained England credibility.
